Musical Theatre 4 explores dramatic forms of presentation, dance routines, and independent vocal parts, while creatively participating in performance. Active participation is key in the artistic creative process in this course. In acting, be exposed to a variety of dramatic forms like mime, choreographed poetry, and improvisation. You'll be trained to take on individual characters and strive to stay fully invested in your characters throughout the performance. In singing, learn vocal drills with additional focus on interpretation, and sing with live accompaniment or backing track. In dance, deliver complex routines and explore partnering work and featured solo parts.

Musical Theatre 2 offers dialogue and synchronised movement while establishing independent character awareness and tuneful singing. Establish an ensemble spirit that nurtures interdependence as you learn dialogue in storytelling and interact with different character groups - challenging you to listen and respond to others, and helping recreate themed scenarios. For musicality, do ear-training vocal exercises, and explore longer lines and more difficult songs where the focus is tuneful singing. In dance, learn choreographed steps with focus on body isolation, tension, and extension.

Musical Theatre 1 explores group characterisation in storytelling, group dramatic movement, vocal projection, and unison singing. This course nurtures self-discovery, confidence, and independence. Explore what you can do with your body and voice in storytelling, learn to assume different characters, and deliver spoken lines responding to the teacher. Develop musicality through vocal drills focusing on projection, and learn to communicate thoughts and emotions through song. Learn ensemble dancing and stage movements focusing on body isolations, stillness, energy, and bigger-than-life movements.

Musical Theatre Jr (24/25)

Musical Theatre Jr recreates stories through guided speech and simple action songs, while establishing fundamentals of dramatic performance. As beginner storytellers, toddlers take part in storytelling through short spoken lines, interaction with characters using simple gestures, and linear blocking. As young singers, they develop musicality through instrument exploration, sound emulation, and repetitive delivery of melodic nursery rhymes and action songs. As budding movers, they are exposed to different musical rhythms and moods using their body.
