The Trinity College London Musical Theatre In-Production Exam offers students with a unique opportunity to be assessed and awarded for their on-stage performance with professional stage and production elements. Kids’ Gallery is one of very few children theatre education institutions in Hong Kong that can produce productions of this scale. Different from other awards and exams, this is a perfect way to recognise and celebrate your child’s hard work in our summer intensive musical theatre 2-week camp.
Step into the shoes of superheroes, step up onto the stage, and into the ring, where superheroes come together to see who is the best of the best! Nothing is as we anticipate — but, it’s a contest filled with challenges, transformation and a journey in discovering the unapologetic superpowers that we all have!

Price:
Juniors: HK$8,260 per child (fee includes tuition, costumes and production fees)
INITIAL GRADE, GRADE 1 & 2: HK$9,980 per child (fee includes tuition, exam, costumes and production fees)

Application Deadline: Applications are open to all who fulfil the basic age requirement; however, due to the limited numbers of applicants we can accept, applications are accepted on a first-come first-served basis.
Exam Name: Trinity Musical Theatre In-Production Examination Initial Grade, Grade 1 or Grade 2
Performance & Exam Venue: HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity Multi-media Theatre
Attendance Requirements: 80% attendance for class, and mandatory dress rehearsal
Ticket Price: HK$280 per person (TBC) (performers do not need a ticket for entry)
Show Duration: Approximately 45 minutes
Awarded Certificate(s):
Trinity Certificate for participants who passed exam
Kids’ Gallery Certificate for Participation
Hair, make-up, and costume
Costumes will be available for pick-up before Performance dates.
Please wear white/light colour undergarments.
Performers are required to wear black canvas shoes/jazz shoes that are available for purchase at $80/pair and $288/pair respectively at Kids’ Gallery. We suggest children start wearing the black canvas shoes in class to practise.
- Girls: Wear hair in a low bun; if hair is too short, style hair away from face
- Boys: Leave hair natural
If your child wishes to wear make-up for the performance, please prepare this yourself before your performance. We are unable to provide or apply any make-up due to health and safety reasons.
Health and safety
We will continue to uphold the highest levels of hygiene and safety.
Remarks
- Students should not bring bags or accessories to the theatre
- The performance is approximately 45 min in length
- No photography or video-taking is allowed during the performance. A professional video of the entire performance is included in the Summer Camp Production Fee
- No parent or caregiver is allowed in the backstage area
- Please note that once confirmed, your child becomes an important part of The Grand Heroic: A Superhero Saga production cast and we cannot give refunds of Summer Camp Production Fees under any circumstances.
- Performance venue and dates are subject to change due to availability
- No make-up class(es) for missed class(es)
- Enrolment in selected timeslots are final and non‑changeable. To enjoyed the discounted rate (30th Anniversary Gift) offered for these selected times, no changes are permitted. If a client requires a timeslot change, a non‑refundable arrangement fee of $850 will be applied, and any change is subject to availability. We reserve the right to deny any change requests.
